How much longer will she be hanging around? “I imagine the reason you have to endure Rose for five more episodes is because A) the show already agreed to pay Lauren Stamile for those episodes, and B) Rose is probably one of the catalysts bringing Mer-Der back together,” TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello said in his weekly column. Bringing the two characters back together is something that Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes would love to see happen. “My goal is to get Meredith [Ellen Pompeo] and Derek [Patrick Dempsey] together for good and let them try to figure out what it is to be in a relationship in the future,” she said.
