Many have praised the TV series which combines comedy, drama, romance and many other aspects of daily life, seen from the point of view of doctors and their hidden private lives. The drive by medical people especially doctors to keep their lives outside the hospital distant from the rest of their life makes this all the more difficult. The drama of the Emergency Room cannot be understated for some of the people who enter, do so on the worst days of their lives. Being a doctor isn’t easy as the series shows us and the more in real life where true emotions exist without the cajoling of a script.
A career as a doctor is one of the most stressful and many who are in the field can attest to it.
They even watch the show themselves to see themselves in a totally different life, as if they were the ones on the show itself. They seldom see themselves in the light of such drama but this doesn;t say they don’t go through the same things our cast goes through. Grey’s Anatomy is currently in it’s fifth season but the recession may bring a sudden end to the much loved drama as with other TV series. But as ratings are showing, the series has a strong following that may just pull it through till the end of the season.
