Grey’s Anatomy creator, Shonda Rhimes finally answers questions the fans have been waiting for, with regards to the decision of the producers to boot out one of the main characters in the popular show. Many have questioned why the axing was so sudden. It is rumored also that the reason why Dr. Erica Hahn was booted out of the drama series was because of the character’s love affair insinuating lesbianism. Other rumors speculate that the character was taken out because the executives were just tired of the character already and that her role was not going anywhere. Rhimes countered the rumors stating that the character was taken out because the chemistry between the characters Dr. Hahn and Callie would not sustain in the future.
